V kraji Tusheti jsem byl fotit reportáž ze společného projektu Czech Development Agency a Caritas Czech Republic in Georgia.
Cílem projektu bylo naučit místní farmáře současné metody stříhání ovcí a dopomoci jim tak získávat vlnu vyšší kvality.
Lidé tohoto kraje tradičně využívají vlnu k výrobě oděvů, koberců a dalších věcí – snad jim tento projekt pomůže zlepšit i možnost se uplatnit na celosvětovém trhu s vlnou.
Během práce na tomto „úkolu“ se samozřejmě odehrálo i mnoho menších příběhů a zde je jeden z nich – výroba ovčího sýru…
Tusheti region – I went there to capture joint project of Czech Development Agency and Caritas Czech Republic in Georgia. The aim of the project was to teach local farmers current methods of sheep shearing and help them to obtain a higher quality wool.
People from Tusheti region traditionally use the wool to produce clothing, carpets and many other things – hopefully this project will help to improve their ability to reach the global wool market.
While working on this „task“, of course, I have witnessed many smaller “stories” to happen and here is one of them – making a sheep’s cheese..
